Sidatapa village

   Sidetapa village is one of the five villages that are in the old SCTPB in Banjar District.
Sidetapa village has an area of 845 ha, with a population of 2193 head of the family, with the number of inhabitants 5152 inhabitants. Sidetapa village is in the mountains with an altitude of 500 above sea level. Distance from Lovina is about 7 km and the distance from the district town of Singaraja is approximately 19 km.

HISTORICAL OLD VILLAGE Sidetapa

Sidetapa village is the village of Parent / Bali Aga village, the village is expected to start Caka was established in the year AD 785 or 863 and marked the inauguration Pura Bale Agung village of Gunung Sari, this is considered a sign of the start or the establishment of village Sidetapa by residents. But long before it was thought to have no civilization in this region is evidenced by the discovery of prehistoric relics such as the sarcophagus and several other ancient relics which unfortunately has not been well studied.


Until now there has been any inscription that shows clearly the formation history Sidetapa village and can only be in the know through the narrative of the village elders Sidetapa. However, it can be concluded that the village Sidetapa a Bali Aga village (Bali = Bali Aga = mountain) is one of Bali there on the Mount, whether they are genuine or Bali Bali Majapahit. It proved, are found  sanggah dadia.
